The long wait for the 2016 Outlander is finally over. The new model recently debuted at the New York Auto Show, featuring the latest in crossover design and performance technologies. The new Outlander is an exciting new take on the well-known sport utility vehicle.

The 2016 Outlander design has been overhauled for this new model, featuring a “Dynamic Shield” concept for the front fascia styling, as well as new fenders, LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and more according to Mitsubishi.

“The 2016 Outlander has an eye-catching new design aesthetic inside and out, and with its long list of engineering upgrades, the new Outlander literally looks, drives and feels like an entirely new vehicle, making it an even more compelling value than before,” said Mitsubishi Executive Vice President, Don Swearingen. “Mitsubishi’s outstanding sales momentum is carrying into the new-year and with the arrival of the 2016 Outlander crossover we are well positioned to sustain our growth.”

Aside from a new exterior design, the new model also has a restyled interior with a new steering wheel, exclusive premium seating, accent trims, the new Homelink system, and a display audio system. With all of this and more, the new Outlander is sure to be a segment-leading vehicle for another year in a row.
