If you drive a new Mitsubishi, it may be equipped with Android Auto™, which gives you access to a world of digital tools.
Android Auto™ is a safer way to use certain smartphone features in your car and minimize distractions. This interface allows you to use certain smartphone apps directly on the Mitsubishi Connect screen. Listen to your favorite music, get directions, and send messages all with your voice and while keeping your phone stowed away.
Use Google Assistant on Android Auto™ so you can keep your hands on the wheel while still accessing your apps. Press and hold the voice control button on your steering wheel or say, “OK, Google,” to activate the voice commands and access your favorite apps.
Currently, Mitsubishi Connect Android Auto Apps include Spotify®, TuneIn, Stitcher™, Threema, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, Audiobooks by Audible, and Google Maps, just to name a few. When you access Google Maps, for instance, you can get real-time traffic alerts, find a faster route, and avoid speed traps. Alternatively, you can use the Waze navigation app to find a new restaurant.
There are new apps added to Android Auto all the time. Some of the latest additions include WhatsApp, Skype, Textra, and Google Play Music.
