Whether you’re the kind of person who likes a good scare or you’re looking for a more tame experience, Halloween is a perfect opportunity to have fun in the fall. If you live in or around Rahway, New Jersey, make sure to hit up these fun, family-friendly events.

2019 Monster Mash Carnival

Every year, the City of Rahway puts on a Halloween parade, complete with a carnival and costume contest. While the full details of the 2019 event have yet to be released, last year’s seasonal treat was held at Train Station Plaza, and various parties sprung up at several local restaurants.

Scarecrow Stroll

Taking place in nearby Cranford, the 12th annual Scarecrow Stroll invites people of all ages to make their very own unique scarecrow and place it in downtown Cranford. The entry deadline is October 4th, and voting for which scarecrow is best is scheduled to take place from October 16th through 31st.

Frazee House Harvest Festival

If you’re interested in something less focused on the spooky side of the season, the local historic Frazee House hosts a Harvest Festival every year. Your family will have a blast at the petting zoo, pony rides, and bouncy house while jamming out to live music and indulging in festival food from a variety of food trucks.

Halloween Hocus Pocus

Head to Westfield for this yearly event at the Miller-Cory House Museum for a kid-friendly Halloween party on October 26th. From a scavenger hunt to cupcake decorating to storytelling, this event for young children (from the age of three until the graduate elementary school) is an unmissable fiesta.

Here at Bell Mitsubishi, we want you and your family to enjoy Rahway’s many fall offerings in complete safety. Make an appointment with our service department to get your car ready for whatever adventures the season has in store for you.
