Striving to better the world is something every company should do. It should come as no surprise that Mitsubishi supports The Asher House so it can help more dogs find the homes they deserve. Mitsubishi donated a brand new 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross crossover to help Lee Asher and his team on their mission.
Asher first set out to help dogs find loving homes in 2017. He quit his job and raised enough money to purchase an RV. He travelled throughout the United States to hold adoption events and help shelters however he could. It’s his ambition that inspired Mitsubishi Motors to support his cause with a new Eclipse Cross.
“Lee started with a passion when he created The Asher House and it has become a movement to help raise awareness for rescue animals and shelters across the country; Asher’s bold decision to take action on his ambition is admirable and we’re privileged to be able to help support his mission,” said Mark Chaffin, COO of Mitsubishi Motors North America.
Since beginning his journey, Asher has helped 146 dogs find homes with loving owners. Mitsubishi Motors remains committed to assisting The Asher House by supporting local rescue events and gatherings. Asher plans on using the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross to travel the country with his team and dogs.
All proceeds will go toward the Pacific South Coast Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. “Through their sponsorship and unprecedented donation we will be able to contribute to MS research that is committed to stopping MS, restoring lost function and ending MS, while we ensure that people affected by multiple sclerosis are surrounded with the resources and support they need to move forward,” said Richard Israel, president of the organization.
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition that was won at the auction was the first of 1,600 that will be produced for the United States market, the final goodbye of a legendary sports sedan with a decade of history behind it.
The Final Edition is doing the Evo justice. Each model will feature a unique numbered plaque, lightweight two-piece Brembo brake rotors, Bilstein shocks, Mitsu’s patented Super All-Wheel Control system, and the regular turbocharged four-cylinder 2.0-liter engine, tuned up to produce extra horsepower. It’ll be sorely missed at Bell Mitsubishi.

The Valerie Fund provides support for the health care of children with cancer and other blood disorders. It was established in 1976 in memory of Valerie Goldstein, who lost her battle with cancer at the age of nine. Her parents wanted to help make a difference in her memory by helping ease the burden of other families going through the same experiences.
We are proud to be a part of such a wonderful and worthy cause and we hope that you will join our efforts to raise funds and awareness for The Valerie Fund! Stop in and see us and we will be glad to help you make a difference.
